Definitely a career highlight.

Even before the gold record presentation, I was a Gough fan and meeting him then and later when I was asked to be a speaker at the Labor Party's Opera House launch, only confirmed this opinion.

I recall standing there, shooting the breeze with the PM (as you do) as he surveyed the RR posters that covered the wall. One of the shots, from the 'My Name Means Horse' album, is of a horse standing on stage in front of a microphone. He was curious to know if we had any problems with the horse "crapping on the stage".

My kind of guy!
