Ross's first TV appearance - STW Channel 9 Perth
Whilst still working as an audio operator at STW 9 , Ross was asked to record a promotional song for Perth radio station 6PM as part of their 'Peppermint Radio' campaign. PM ... peppermint ... (ahem).
The song, with lyrics by the station's ad agency, was released in Perth as a single - available exclusively at selected participating petrol stations (no, really). The flip-side (as they used to say) featured local band,The Statesmen singing 'Keep On Trucking' - another catch phrase from said campaign
For this auspicious television occasion, Ross unfortunately forgot to bring a guitar strap. Watch how he attempts to hold up the guitar whilst at the same time trying to be groovy!
